OnHOME’s Call to Action

We therefore call on EU policymakers to improve the availability of medicines online by encouraging Member States to take the necessary steps to allow online access to prescription medicines, leveraging the current revision of the General Pharmaceutical Legislation. Specifically, this could be achieved by amending Article 172 of the Commission proposal for the Pharmaceutical Directive, which will regulate the sale of medicinal products at a distance to the public.
